had a few moments last night

I scaled the rooftop tiles to be bigger and added a few more. the rooft consists of 3 layers.....a wooden frame (not shown yet) plywood, and tiles or metal that sits on the plywood.

theres gonna be gaps/damage in the plywood around the areas that you see the boards/sheet metal. If you think this progress is too slow we can talk about it.

Don't Taze Me Bro!

I've shifted some scale and added some preportions as per your request. Good eye, I think you caught alot of shit that I didnt. Ummm...the canopy window is to high off the ground and I guess the big wheel could stand to be a bit smaller...but other than that...I think we're in business..I like where this model is going....I just need to post some wires for you soon so I dont go overboard on polys at such an early stage.
cheers boss,

Keep the car running

I didnt have much time to spend on this last night...but here's what I have so far. If I have time to work on a model, what I like to do is rough out the shapes first with simple primatives...then i'll sculpt the shapes or replace them with a more detailed primative.
I guess at this point all we can look at is design, appeal and preportion. I have a feeling that this model is going to be more of a test in texturing above all else. the good news is that I can craft some really nice wood because this isnt a really intensive model. your thoughts?

3D modeled undercariage

--this is just a rough--

I think my concern at this point is if im getting to carried away with it. I have to spend one more night working on this little model because it isnt in proportion to the longer side of the wagon (the canopy side). Right now its just kinda symmetrical. Your thoughts? tone it down? stay the course?

Detailing

Im getting a little more intricate with the guard rail. I think it will be a little more intricate to destroy. I thought about putting some bread baskets on the shelf of the canopy window at the side.....but if the wagon is toppeled over....nothing will be on that shelf
I really like the idea of going with a hand carved rose for the under carriage of the wagon. Since its made out of wood, I would keep it more straight edged, therefore low poly.

I need to take some time to think of the undercarriage....I think I might keep the undercarriage simple to contrast the detail of the wagon

So here's the other side of the wagon that you don't see in the other drawings. nothing really new here. In fact this view is a hell of a lot simpler than the opposite. Tomorrow i'd like to draw individual elements of the wagon (like the detailing and junk) as well as the props around the wagon. Saturday i'll topple the wagon over and then on Sunday have a rotation of the toppled over cart.

The Nature of the Experiment!

Alright Slim, Heres my contribution for the day. I basically took yesterday's drawings and refined the design and materials.
