Im moving further and further away from fine details and now paying attention to what colours I want for the rest of the object. When im happy, I can go in closer and paint dirt.

thats a good call man, make sure the whole piece looks right. kinda like painting. start with broad colours and shadows, then work on details. i like it. so things are lookin nice man, the wood is very nice and the colours are quite nice so far. nothing really to crit yet. sorry for the break in postings. cheers
