

Alright, so you can see that i've progressed. The barrel is good, I think it can be left alone. I'll still take suggestions for the crate if you think it can be improved on.
You can also see that i've started the cobblestone process. Things are starting to come together faster now that we've established a level of quality I want to go with. Working on this stuff is so relaxing.
Anyway, not much else except Phantom Hourglass multiplayer wifi is addictive as shit.

damn this shits lookin good. havnt seen the site in a couple days and Bam. i really like where your going with the texturing. its painterly and a bit cartoony which fits the style really well. The barrel looks like its been wet and used and the crate has a lotta nice details in there. i really like the bent nails. with the crate watch out for stretchy lines on the side of planks. it looks like the UVs are very stretched on some sides. now if you want to take things a bit further later on u can add a few cuts on ur crate and warp the shape a bit, just so its profile isnt a perfect cube still. this will fit with the texture better too.
the cobblestone around the crate looks nice too, i like the res on it and the bump noise. later on i would suggest u make a few different bump maps for the stone and mix them together. different size cracks and such. but thats for later on. cheers man, keep on truckin
