Okay, Some work done to the front here.I've decided to take your advice here and take out the canvas patches and simplified the canvas walls. I just made it look like a stretched canvas. There are some obvious errors here, like the wood having some texture stretching...im not worried about that quite yet.
Im trying to think about how I can wear down that top wrought iron/metal piece. I think there would be 4 layers to something like that.
- The Painted Layer
- A worn out smoothed paint layer
- A silvery/reflective layer (the metal before it was painted)
- The rust layer
Either way, its probably a good idea to bend up the mesh a little on that black metal part...it looks too perfect and theres no way they would have the tools to make such a perfect mold.
One last thing, the wood on the frame needs to be worn down at the edges....if the wood is a chesnut brown, then i'd make it a lighter brown at the edges.
Thats it for now. Wanna be a poppa? You can beat a mom.....ANGOLA!!!!

alright man, first off i gotta say the canvas looks stellar. seriously the res is nice, the fabric and folds look perfect and it really feels stretched and old. really impressive.
i agree with the metal work and i like the 4 layer idea u have with it.
now lookin at those pics there are 2 areas that look pretty much finished to me. the canvas and the wood on number 6. these are nice res, are very clean, the texture matches the model and so on. they look great. i also think the cobble stone is done too, but lets focus on this pic.
1. the metal on the roof looks a bit too blurry and theres a bit too much going on in there. i like the rust u have going on but i also think it needs a bit of clean up. id say use a bit for texture samples and not just colour. not to be a rail, but i did a quick photoshop job of just using testures from myangs. i also darkened the inset to show it off a bit more, this helps in defining some details. u did that on the post (5) and i really like that. the use of colour to help define detail is really nice there.
2. this ones a bit silly but it kinda bugs me, so ignore if u please. but the jars seem a bit squashed, i dunno why but it seems a bit unnatural to me. i think if they were mis-shapen it would only be parts of the bottle not the whole thing.
3. the large wood supports seem a it baren to me, i would suggest putting a base on the bottom to connect them to the floor geo better and maybe some supports in the center.
4. seems like the geo is intersecting through the wood there. no biggy but make sure stuff like that is gone for the final.
5. like i said this guy looks awsome, the colour on it is great. need textures and all but colour wise i love it.
6. this piece of wood rocks man, the modelling is awsome, it follows the texture, its interesting and not just a box. the texture is a nice res and really reads as an old piece of wood.
7. watch them stretchys. but im sure i didnt need to point this one out.
well thats all for now. peace
